Amor putredo

The most merciful thing Universe can do for a soul is to vaccinate it against Love. Amor putredo is a genus of incredibly precise parasitic fungi which debilitates its prey by inducing high doses of specific hormones linked to good feelings. Slowly, it spreads across the entirety of the nervous system, and in its most final stage, it pulls strings to cause heartbreak, for when a heart is hydraulically crushed by such despairful feelings, this is a monumental feast. So, what the Universe does is that it causes the heart to ache before amor putredo has an opportunity to do this. By doing such, the heart develops the needed antibodies and protective layers to prevent this from happening again. The Universe really has everything thought through, doesn’t it?
